After growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona, Ashleigh L. Levison MD, graduated summa cum laude from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA where she was inducted into the national honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. She attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where she was selected to join Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. Dr. Levison completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of California San Francisco. She then completed a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Cole Eye Institute at the Cleveland Clinic and stayed for an additional fellowship in uveitis. After two years practicing retina and uveitis in Arizona she joined Colorado Retina Associates.
Dr. Levison is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. Dr. Levison has authored and co-authored many retina and uveitis journal articles and book chapters. She has presented the results of her research at multiple national scientific meetings. Dr. Levison is excited for her move to Colorado. In her free time she enjoys attending professional sports games, concerts, and the theater. She also enjoys traveling and snow skiing.
