Dr. Kimura- Member of AAO International Meetings Committee
In addition to serving as President and Managing Partner of his own organization, Colorado Retina Associates, Dr. Alan Kimura will serve as a 2020 American Academy of Ophthalmology committee representative. As a newly inaugurated member of the International Meetings Committee, Dr. Kimura will play a key role in the Academy’s ability to meet its goals and objectives of spreading and advancing ethically sound ophthalmic education across the globe. Dr. Kimura will join other globally renowned ophthalmologists to assist in the growth of the Academy's participation and organization of educational programs at ophthalmology meetings outside the United States.
Dr. Kimura looks forward to assisting in the planning and provision of professional speakers at AAO international meetings, as well as working with his fellow committee members to exchange ideas and collegiality improve the care for millions of people with eye diseases around the world.
